The theme for this years' conference is: "Training Adaptive Leaders for Counterinsurgency Operations." The Infantry Warfighting Conference 2009 will feature Army leaders with recent combat experience, giving their insights on counterinsurgency (COIN) operations. The aim of the conference is to identify the tactics, techniques and procedures leaders are employing that are working that are working well in the COIN environment.
